Marianne Beeby is a writer who lives an ordered life in a rich wooden apartment with CCTV, behind a high concrete wall with keypad entry and doesn’t venture outdoors often.
When she receives an email message from an unknown source that simply states "Where are you now?" she is confused and dismisses it as random
As she turns from her computer she sees a man in a mask in her apartment, who approaches her and horribly assaults her, leaving her shattered and afraid.
Her precious CCTV shows nothing.
This is the first of the ominous messages that precede terrible invasions on her private life. Each message simply asking the question she fears to answer; "Where are you now?"
