What is this?

The MAKE MY MOVIE project is giving away a $200,000 cash grant from the New Zealand Film Commission and Darksky Films/MPI Pictures for one lucky person/team to make a low-budget feature film.

Think of a horror film idea and a logline
Write a synopsis (100–300 words) covering your film's setting, characters and plot
Design (or have someone design) a poster that sells your film
Complete everything in the Submit section
Share your idea via social media in order to drum up support for your project
Win $200,000 and make a horror film
